These terms apply to all orders placed on this website. Please read them before ordering.

Sunshine Diamonds is a trading name of Jewellery Trading Company Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12569699, which operates this website and sells the products on it. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Jewellery Trading Company Ltd trading as Sunshine Diamonds.

2. Your order
When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been accepted. We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price has been displayed in error; if so, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. UK delivery is free. Payment is taken securely at checkout. Where a discount code is offered, the discounted price applies only when the valid code is entered at checkout and only for as long as the offer runs.
4. Product descriptions
We describe each item as accurately as possible. Natural and laboratory-grown diamonds are always clearly identified. Diamond weights are total carat weights unless stated otherwise and may vary slightly within accepted trade tolerances. Images are for illustration and colours may vary between screens. Where a grading report is supplied, its details are shown in the product description.
5. Hallmarking
Precious metal items above the legal exemption weights are independently tested and hallmarked by a UK Assay Office in accordance with the Hallmarking Act 1973.
6. Delivery
All orders are dispatched from our Hatton Garden premises in London. Delivery times and terms are set out on our delivery information page. Estimated delivery dates are given in good faith; we will contact you if there is any delay.
7. Cancellations and returns
Your right to cancel and our 30-day money-back guarantee are explained in our returns & refunds policy. Bespoke and personalised items made to your specification cannot be cancelled once production has started, except where they are faulty.
8. Warranty and your statutory rights
Our jewellery is covered by a 5-year manufacturing warranty against defects in workmanship, which does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss of stones caused by impact, or repairs carried out by others. The warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
10. Privacy
We use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
